The theme for the NAACP SIP is Know Thy Neighbor. That "neighbor" can be your friend, your actual neighbor, or a pet, maybe even Mother Nature. I don't really like my actual neighbors--well that isn't totally true. I'm just not very social around them.
So lets write about a friend! I've already got a post on Stormy, maybe Nicole would enjoy the honor of being my center of attention for an entire 15 minutes? Chill, she said yes!
Nicole is an excellent friend. She is my best female friend even though we haven't known each other for that long. We met during our freshman year of high school in English 1 Honors. Things we had in common during that class:
1) We hated the work
2) We were failing the class
3) We ended up barely passing with a very low C due to the major extra credit Mrs. Reed was willing to give us (Thank you!)
4) Almost everyone in the class hated us, except for Stormy and Summer.
5) We were the only people that enjoyed acting out Romeo and Juliet
6) We didn't take anything seriously
7) We didn't care that people hated us, we actually did our best to annoy them at times
8) When we were seriously trying to do the work, we were distracted by anything and everything.
(I did get Nicole's stamp of approval for this extremely accurate list)
Sadly, Nicole is straight. But that's never stopped me from flirting with her, and even sometimes being her lesbian lover! We agreed that if an ugly guy was hitting on one of us, we'd pretend to be together to get said ugly dude to go away.

NAACP SIP
Over the summer I signed up to do a Summer Internship Program with the NAACP. I decided to do blahology (the reason I have this blog), vocal training, and theater arts. I wasn't too sure about vocal training on the first day because the only songs we were singing were church-y praise the lord songs. But today there are more options, including "I Believe I Can Fly". Oh, I think I forgot to mention that I'm the only soprano--meaning I'm the only one in the group that sings high notes. Today was awesome, I'm finally getting a hang of the stupid songs!
I'm listening to "Fonz Pond" by Insane Clown Posse. Love that song. I also love to sing. Playing cello is chill too, but I can't play cuz 1) I'm grounded and 2) The C string snapped. It was a very sad day when that occurred. And I need to have my bow rehaired... So much to do, so little time to do it. If you define no time as "so little time".
YAY FOOD!!!!!!! STARBURST GUMMIBURSTS!!!! These people are so chill, they feed us constantly and that makes them beautiful people. Sorry, I have ADHD and I'm totally a foodie.
Blahology is a chill class too, and I like the instructor. We have to have a final presentation for every class we are in, and us bla-ologists don't know how we are going to do ours. I mean, no one wants to sit around all day reading blogs. I suggested like a slide show of our fav posts, or we could all write an essay together.
OMFG TODAY IS THURSDAY! THAT MEANS WE HAVE A FIELD TRIP TOMORROW! We are going to a fire station. I hope they feed us. And let us drive a fire truck. Fudge. I don't have my permit. I'm sixteen years old and I don't have my permit. I didn't want to get it before but now I want it.
Well, I'm off to plan my next post. Enjoy a musical life people. Buh-bye
P. S. Don't go in the water (;

The Story of Stormy
So one of my closest friends (and ex) is also a blogger. She's got two blogs, one isn't so current anymore but that's ok, and we call her fabulousness Stormy. Yes, I date chicks as well as dudes. If you've got a problem with it, either get over it or leave. There's no room for haters here unless you're hating on the same thing that I am. Like Apple. Apple sucks. But that's off topic. Back to Stormy (:
Stormy and I had a very serious, long term relationship. It lasted for a grand total of.... Wait for it.... Ready? TWO DAYS. Stormy, don't yell at me in the comments please... Or do, cuz that might entertain our lovely readers. Anyways, I ended us. I also suck at relationships. Like I tell people that are interested in me, I'm a really crappy gf. But I am one hell of a friend. Ask Stormy on her marvelous blog, dancinginrainbowsocks.blogspot.com (: She's hilarious. "Bloody brilliant", as she'd say. Anyways, our breakup didn't affect our friendship at all. It might have made us closer though, even though I do become distant at times.
Stuck in my head at the moment is "Dirty Mind", by 3oh!3. It's a song that my ex Scratch showed me. It's sexual but a wonderful description of our friendship. Actually there's this one trapstep song that is absolutely perfect, but I can't remember it for the life of me.
Stormy's worried that I'm saying bad things about her, so here's where I pretend to dis my awesome buddy. She's fun, cute, adorkable, a Whovian, a fellow PokeMaster, funny, trust-able, dependable, and she's like my rock. My strong solid support. You can count on a chick like Stormy. Lucifer knows I do!
Like my URL and first post said, I'm grounded. My parents are asking questions. I've gotta go. Sorry to leave you so soon when I still have so many good words to shout about Stormy ): Maybe I'll get ungrounded one day! And finally earn my friggen clothes back... But that's another story for another time, just remind me cuz my memory is shite.
Ta-ta my dears, until tomorrow! Don't forget to enjoy some music for me too.
Hello World!
Hiya! My name is Ash, and I'm totally new to the blogging community. I started this blog for a creative writing class I'm taking over the summer.
Basic facts about me:
1) I'm grounded. Usually for 83.7% of the year.
2) I love music. Music is life.
3) I love food. Eating is awesome.
4) I suck at remembering things, like basic facts about my personality.
Currently I'm listening to "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead", by Jason Michael Carrol. Yes, it's a country song. I like almost everything, except for (c)rap and anything that's hot right now. My all-time fav is old alternative rock though. Anyone out there familiar with Days of the New? Yes, no, maybe so? They're awesome, but I wouldn't suggest getting familiar with them though cuz the lead singer is a major flake.
As much as I'd love to continue, the program instructor says it's time for lunch. Yes dear readers, I will ditch you for food any day at any time for any reason. Too-Da-Loo!
